I’ve never been a huge fan of staying in hotels when I travel. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some amazing experiences in some truly luxurious hotels, but more often than not I feel like I’m just a number and I don’t really get to know the area I’m visiting.
This is why, when my parents and I planned a trip to Thessaloniki, I was so excited to find out about the Family Villas option. Essentially, you get your own villa with a kitchen, living room and private pool, but you’re still in close proximity to all the amazing sites and sounds of Thessaloniki.
We opted for the Villa Aris, and it was absolutely perfect. The villa was spacious and comfortable, and the pool was a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing. The location was also perfect, just a short walk from the centre of town.
If you’re looking for a more authentic, relaxed Greek holiday experience, then I would definitely recommend checking out the Family Villas in Thessaloniki.
